Arisdyne Systems has been a leader in the use of control flow cavitation (CFC™) technology for many years. We are experienced at using CFC™ technology in areas such as vegetable oil refining, biodiesel production as well as ethanol production. Arisdyne has also been working in the area of soy, oat and other plant based milk product processing. CFC™ technology is known for producing very high surface area in the reaction or mixing zones of cavitation. By creating a high energy intensive reaction zone, followed by an almost immediate removal of that energy, we can create very stable emulsion and dispersion systems.
• In vegetable oil refining, we can reduce chemistry and improve final product by creating a more efficient reaction of oil impurities with chemicals by creating a high surface area for reactions to occur.
• In liquid / liquid systems, we can help to generate very small emulsion droplets thereby increasing surface area, this has also been shown in some food based industries to improve the quality of mouth feel.
• We have also used CFC™ technology in solid/liquid systems where small solids particle size is desired with a monomodal distribution.
The use of CFC™ technology incorporates both shear and controlled cavitation as a means of disrupting systems to allow for a more homogeneous mixture and improved overall stability.
