The Soybean Innovation Lab (SIL) is a USAID Feed the Future program housed at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. SIL is focused on enabling the soybean value chain in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) to further soybean seed quality, farmer livelihoods, and nutrition at scale. SIL is focused on working with SSA processors to bring nutrient-dense soy-enhanced foods to African markets. AOCS. SIL and Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) work together to bring AOCS member volunteers to SSA processors under the Processor to Processor (P2P) program.
