Abstract: In current worldwide scenario, energy costs are sharply going up and so are the processing costs. It is the need of the hour to implement energy-efficient novel techniques in edible oil processing plants. This shall reduce the energy consumption while the processing facilities achieve the desired finished product.
All the inefficient processes need to be identified in existing running processing facilities and replace it with highly efficient processes. It would also need constant monitoring and controlling of all the processing parameters so that all energy wastes can be attended to. This session will be supported by details and results from some of our energy-efficient installations and techniques.
