This session will examine critical formulation and hydrogeological parameters to improve surfactant formulations and hybrid technologies for difficult contaminants and sites as well as chemically enhanced oil recovery for mature oil fields and shale formations. Another talk will discuss heating and nanofluid treatment of middle and bottom emulsion-produced oil layers to meet economic and environmental goals for oil recovery operations. Also, simplifying surfactant formulation workstreams seeks an economically viable alkali surfactant polymer formulation for challenging field applications.
