This session will explore laundry and cleaning products with less environmental impact. Enzymes produced from renewable feedstocks can destabilize the liquid detergent matrix, reducing performance. A talk will discuss advances in protein screening for enzyme stability. A presenter will discuss two green products—Suga® and Poly Suga®—developed for the household and personal care industries. The session will also examine how to facilitate lower detergent dosages of high-efficiency chemicals to yield a smaller environmental footprint and reduce costs.
