Virus particles trapped in respiratory droplets can be deposited on environmental surfaces. This session will examine how surfactants can disrupt virus transmission pathways through the inactivation of complex media surrounding the virus. Also, Evonik will discuss viosurfactants for professional cleaning to address challenges and opportunities with green products. The session will also focus on propylene oxide-incorporated alcohol alkoxylates and EOPO block copolymers that display unique low-foam and defoaming properties suitable for cleaning applications.
