The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) maintains a publicly available online database on the safety of ingredients used in household cleaning products. This information was combined with exposure data to produce a conservative human health and environmental safety screening level risk assessment. Also, a presenter will discuss current and potential future regulatory items related to surfactants and detergents and a tentative timeline for the REACH Polymer Registration. The session will also review concentration approaches and evaluate their advantages and disadvantages for the long-term assessment of 1,4-Dioxane levels in commercial products.
