Mr. McNichol is the global Technical Support and Market Development Manager for PQ’s Specialty Adsorbent group supporting the Renewable Diesel, Biodiesel and Edible Oil markets. With over 30 years’ industry experience, beginning in manufacturing, he has a broad background in Adsorbents including not only Silica Gels, but Zeolites, Activated Carbons and Aluminas as well. On the application side, in addition to his current market focus, Mr. McNichol also has extensive experience in conventional Petroleum Refining, Natural Gas processing, Petrochemical production and the Fuel Ethanol Industry as well. He has lived and worked on two continents travelling extensively for business to meet customer needs. Mr. McNichol holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering as well as Masters’ degrees in both Business Administration and International Management, all from the University of Maryland system.
