Javen Weston is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tulsa, who completed his PhD at the University of Oklahoma under the supervision of Jeffrey Harwell. His background includes work on non-Newtonian fluids, particle suspensions, emulsion stabilization, and surfactant adsorption. After graduating with a PhD in chemical engineering, he was a post-doctoral researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD working to build an instrument capable of characterizing complex fluids at high-pressures, and high shear-rates. He joined the Russell School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Tulsa in the Fall of 2018.
