I am a second year PhD student currently working at Avignon University whitin the GREEN Extraction Team focusing on eco-extraction of natural products.
The research projet I am involved in is a collaboration between Avignon University and the start-up EcoXtract (Minafin Group).
My PhD work particularly focuses on the potential replacement of hexane by a bio-based and safer solvent, 2-methyloxolane, for the production of vegetable oils and proteins.
