Presenting Author-Baochen Fang is a Ph.D candidate in cereal sciences program, plant sciences department in North Dakota State University (NDSU), working with Dr. Jiajia Rao. Before she entered NDSU, she obtained her bachelor's and master's degree from college of food science and engineering, Jilin University in China. During her Ph.D period, she won the Len Sibbitt Memorial Scholarship in NDSU at her second year and achieved excellent grades (4.0) in all classes. Her research is related to hemp protein functionalities and rheological behavior of gel.
