Winston J Craig is Professor Emeritus of Nutrition at Andrews University, MI and Adjunct Professor of Public Health at Loma Linda University, CA. He has taught nutritional biochemistry and public health nutrition for the past 40 years. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1971 and a MPH degree in 1975 from Loma Linda University, California. He has been a member of American Society for Nutrition since 1985, and a member of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics for 33 years. Dr Craig has conducted nutrition seminars and lectured on nutrition in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and various countries of Europe, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Dr Craig has authored over 45 articles for scholarly journals, 10 books, and 300 articles for health publications. He edited the book “Vegetarian Nutrition and Wellness” (2018). In 2009 and again in 2016, he co-authored the position paper on vegetarian diets for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. His research interests include the nutritional adequacy and health benefits of a plant-based diet.
