This session will summarize which microbial glycolipids form hydrogels, provide a short overview of hydrogel structures, and discuss a rare example of sol-gel transition. A presenter will provide an overview of next-generation Oleo-furan sulfonate surfactants’ properties compared to commercial anionic surfactants and how they can help achieve affordable, carbon-neutral consumer products. Also, new surfactant formulations for home-care applications can deliver sustainability benefits.
