Join this session to hear the results of a study that combined chlorogenic acid with acarbose as a promising therapy for type II diabetes. Another study examined the protective effect of scallop (Patinopecten yessoensis) male gonad hydrolysates/κ-carrageenan on curcumin in vivo as a nutritional supplement for colitis and inflammatory-related diseases. Also, a new encapsulation method using 3D food printing provides an effective method for delivering bioactive compounds to enhance chemical stability for food and pharmaceutical industries.
