Director of Scientific Communication and Outreach, GOED - Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s.
Worked with GOED part time from 2018-2021, and full time with GOED from January 2021 - present. Amongst other scientific projects, my main priority is managing the GOED Clinical Study Database - which is a sophisticated research tool compiling all of the scientific literature and clinical studies on EPA and DHA omega-3s. Prior to this position, held a position in Data and Analytics for the British Columbia Health Authority, and in Science Communications at the Canadian Sugar Institute. Completed my post-doc at Weight Watchers International. Completed my PhD and MSc with Dr. David Mutch at the University of Guelph, studying omega-3 fats and their effects on metabolism, the impacts of genetics, and the awareness amoung young adults.
