Robert O. Dunn, Ph.D. is a Research Chemical Engineer working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agriculatural Research Service, National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research in Peoria, IL. As a lead scientist working in the Bio-Oils Research (BOR) unit, his research projects center on the development and improvement of biodiesel, biolubricants and other renewable biobased industrial products made from vegetable oils obtained from crops commonly produced by agriculture in the Midwest United States. He has authored or co-authored 96 research publications and 26 book chapters and given 36 invited presentations. Dr. Dunn's research has been featured in numerous news publications including Agricultural Research, Biodiesel Magazine,
Chemical Marketing Reporter, Inform, Lipid Technology Newsletter and Technical Insights’ Industrial Bioprocessing.
