Mrs Laurence Jacques – M. Sc. Eng.
Laurence Jacques is an engineer, graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines, in Paris. She has 30 years experience in the industry (building materials, fine chemistry, pharmaceuticals, green chemistry), with technical, operational and leadership roles. She has experience in business startups, business turn-around and in the generation of strong business growth.
She launched the EcoXtract® project at the end of 2017 within Minafin Group, built the business case, identified the hurdles, hired the team, found the key subcontractors and business partners, piloted the collection of the technical, toxicological and ecotoxicological data missing to confirm the efficacy of the solution and obtain the first food (an feed) approval in Europe for the 2-methyloxolane in January 2023.
